Hello all,

I'm wondering if I need to order both the magnesium chloride and magnesium sulfate to dose magnesium in my spas tank. The recipe calls for them to be mixed and then dosed, but I have some magnesium chloride and no magnesium sulfate and wanted to know if the chloride could be dosed on it's own? Any help would be great, thanks.

If you order from the Chemaster (http://www.canreef.com/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=67) it will be premixed for you. Or if you already have the MgCl you can get magnesium sulfate at the drug store, just look for epsom salts. Straight magnesium chloride could be used but long term I would go with the mixture.
