My tank is overgrowing with bryopsis how have you guys got rid of it. My nit and phos undectable, every thing else is right on the money. I have a seahare, urchin and a tom. tang, I do weekly water changes and run cabon. So I dont know what else to do!!!!
Keeping in check pulling out with forceps but I'm looking a fix as well.
I'll add minimal feeding, Regal and Purple Tangs, Rabbit fish and Lawnmower Blenny don't touch it. Haven't tried the 1600ppm Mg.

I had some on one rock, and no way I could get rid of it. I ended up bleaching the rock. Hate that stuff!!

I had my mag that high by accident one time, although you would not have known it at the time by looking at any of the corals, they all looked fine.

I did the mag trick and it worked well, and the corals didn't seem to notice.

I just added my first batch of mag. I hope it works, I haven't checked my mag for a few weeks but it was down to 1000

My turbo snails eat it in my tank so I have no more.
interesting the Turbo snails.
As for boosting the Mg read a couple different places (though all probably quoting same) is that it's not the Mg directly (eg MagFlake won't work) but it's some additional additive in Kent's Mg supplement.
