Did you catch the game on the weekend?

If it wasn't for Morrison's first career hat trick, and that late scramble for his third, you might be less cocky (figuratively speaking of course).

well, I will be watching the game from the stands.
I didn't even know Calgary still had a hockey team, seeing as you never see them when it comes to playoff time

Finally...someone willing to stick up for his home team! I think you're alone on this one Al

I say get rid of Iginla and bring in Mike Comrie

I'm just trying to remember the last time Calgary or Vancouver won the Stanley Cup... Calgary in 1989, Vancouver in... oh, that's right, never! Unless you count the Vancouver Millionaries in... 1915. Heck, even Victoria has won since then (in 1925), and they don't even have a team!

But honestly, I don't like hockey, and Edmonton winning in the sport that isn't driven by American dollars is more important to me (even though half the players are Americans who couldn't get into the NFL).

DOH! The Nucks will have to fix that soon. Is Vancouver the only Canadian team that hasn't won a Cup?

Senators.

Or if you count the teams that jumped ships, I don't think the Winnipeg Jets won a cup before. At least in my brief existence.

Sens are a little different I guess. They've been in and out of the league. It looks like everyone in Canada wants to see a Vancouver vs Ottawa Finals. Could you imagine how nuts the country would be if this actually happened!?

I was thinking that the Sedins may as well put a Target on each of their backs... I mean it would make more sense anyhow!?! :snipersm:

Yea .. we dont have a whole team of " superstars " and yet you have a hard time even eeking out a draw against us  ... as to Fleury ... we got the best years out of him ... and when he did play here he used to drive a stake through your poor Canuky hearts every time he scored a goal

Careful what you say. Last thing Van needs is for Iginla to break out of his slump tomorrow. I actually thought it was gonna happen last week against Van, but it didn't. Iginla's due for a huge break out and it would be a shame if he never gets it going this year. Remember Todd Bertuzzi started off slow this year too.

Whatever though...Calgary's still going down tomorrow

Let me clear it up a bit for you ... We have actually won a cup ... if we have as you say stunk for a decade and should reach all star status by now then what does that say about your Canuckleheads ? ... your team has been around since when ? 1970 ? so thats over 3 decades right ? ... you should have a roster FULL of superstars with multiple cups ... still no cup  < sigh >

First off, I didn't bring up the Crystal Ball. Since you keep poking at my spelling mistake, you're trying to make it personal.... what an a$$

Secondly, you guys started the Flap Buddy, not me   .

Glad you guys calmed down... step away for a couple of day and look what happens!

I don't mind these discussions when they're actually about the game, and not just a steaming pile of juvenile trash-talking... what are we, Jamaican??

Anyways, I think the comment was made that Iggy may have emerged from his slump - can only be good for us. But the last batch of games have been really good hockey - the wins and ties are nice to see too.

Got that right  It's almost impossible for Canuck fans to get tickets for a game; unless they buy from scalpers. But lets think of it this way, they're both Canadian teams and we should be proud if any of them wins a cup.

BTW, game starts at 7pm pacific time.
