I don't know if they still have them, but when I was in JL a couple of weeks ago they had a few PFO electornic ballasts...some 175 and some 250 in the clearance section.

Thanks! I looked on their website, and they only have 175w listed, so I sent them an email.

Hi everyone, this may be a stupid question, can I replace my 150W ballast with 250W ballast to run 250W bulbs? do I need to change the sockets? It is in a Coralife fixture though. Thanks.

If SE, then changing ballasts is all you need to do.
If DE, the 260w bulb & socket much larger than the 150w bulb/socket so you'll have to change out the socket & rewire. May also need a bigger fan.

Great. Thank you very much for your information. Cheers.
Well, I found some Ice Caps, but it doesn't look like the seller is too motivated (annoying), so I'm looking again!

your not interested in a dual ballast? has to be 2 seperate ballasts? im not selling, just curious as i am running one and love that it only has one plug.
A dual ballast would be perfectly fine. :) If I have two separate ballasts I would want them to be the same brand/model, and same age so I get the same color out of the bulb.
