How do I know if a tank is tempered or not. How do I go about building a corner overflow if I can drill the tank?

I take it you won't have the 50 while you setup the 90?I would think if you put everything in a large rubbermaid with a heater and powerhead they should be fine imo. When your ready to fill the 90 then just transfer from the rubbermaid and top-off with new.Maybe someone can answer where or not you'll go through another cycle(I'm thinking it shouldn't)
Hope that helps

What kind of tank is it? all-glass has a technical page on their website so you can find out if your tank has a tempered bottom or not:

Jim and Jason, thanks for the help. I decided to put the 90 in a new spot, which will make the transfer easier. According to the allglass page it's not tempered.
