I am getting some Berghia on Tuesday and if there was enough interest in the area I would consider breeding them, I would sell them for ~$15-20 locally.

Anyone interested or think it is worth the effort?

I'm interested and it is worth to try for breeding them. One of my fowlr system was infected with aiptasia two years ago when I bought 40 lbs of live rocks from another member. Now I got tons of these guys in the display tank only and the advantage is my water in the DT is crystal clear.

BTW I kind of want to give it a try now. I am getting excited for Tuesday delivery!

j&l were selling them for 14. 95 each-i got 7.95 for each-but you bring in 40 or 50 a month it really adds up.next project i am going to breed are neon gobies-and then slowly work up to helfinger gobies.all the while dropping the prices for everyone

I'd like be interested in a pair if I'm still battling aptasia by then.

PS. You want to keep berghia's in groups of two or more as they actually need to double team an aptasia to take it down, especially bigger aptasia.

I am interested in a pair and would like to know how to breed them.

Do they eat anything that I might not want them to eat?

Well I got my 6 berghia in today and will try to hatch 1 egg strand that was laid during transport by fedex. So, fingers crossed in three months I might have some berghia!

Btw thank you monocus for the tips and showing me your setup.

As a side note I talked to j&l they said they are planning to breed berghia aswell. So lots of berghia around Christmas.

i think alot of members are in demand of berghia and if they are available at a location that is conveinent ,you would sell tons.jnl have stateted it is a pain for them to host them as they are hard to keep. But if you can raise them and be sucessful there is a definate demand. As i said previously if you have 2 for sale i would gladly pick them up thx!!!!
