hello i have a 90 gallon tank with a few small coral .i was useing a swing arm refactor and my salt salinity and it was around 1.25 to 1.26 .today a freind of mine came over with his vertex refractor and checked my level and they where over 1.30 .i want to know if its safe to try lower salt water salitity all at once to 1.23 or sould i go slowly?

Do it slowly. Each too his own but many reefers keep their salinity levels at 1.026 which is the salinity level of oceans where the fish and coral come from.

Try for 0.001 drop every few hours, by taking a few cups out and freshwater in.

+1 it will take some time but it will work well and your tank will thank you for it.
