It's too bad you can't embed (least I don't know how to) video into these posts because shortly after I took that shot the crab started doing somersaults, rolls, and basically putting on a gymnastics routine for me. I was mighty impressed considering I hardly ever get to see that thing.

I don't typically photograph my crabs. But I did discover these red bugs for the second time when taking this picture.

has anyone id'd (??)this , thats a mean looking claw and it looks hairy...... i would ditch it as it doesnt look beneficial at all to our system...ummm i mean your system lol ooops!!!

Wow ! Thanks for the ID, I have his rather large and nasty twin brother in my tank as we speak. He has recently moved and remodelled his lair... How did you catch him? Did he cause problems or damage in your tank?
