failing pump?

pump for my skimmer seems to be cutting in and out every second or so and is not making much bubbles.. is it on its way to dead?


oh well ill try to clean it out when everyone is in bed.

Clean it out. Probably the air line, when it hits the water, at the pump, is plugged.

The impeller may be catching on something that is also blocking the air line? Clean it out it could also be algae/debris affecting the magnetic field.
