nice tank! I'm so used to seeing sps tanks. How big is that big is that colony in the top center of your tank?

The tank is a 120gal. It is about 5 years old now. The pic of the Acro in the middle was from today. It started falling over so I fragged it and took it to Blue world. It is still the size of a dinner plate after the trimming. 6660

They are good beginner corals, and die often in new tanks. Why pay to ship them in, when you can get frags from reefers locally for cheap?

I used to do trade ins with my LFS all the time. I too used to have a leather dominated tank. My Yellow one would drop pieces as big as colonies all the time, it was what supported my reef! Trade two big frags for a bucket of salt!

its more a factor of them being such fast and easy growers...

plague like in the proper conditions so in my experiences, most lfs out here wont take them.

i know my gsp has been growing at an alarming rate but i do like it alot! until it gets way out of hand!
