I purchased this tank with the hope of setting it up in my new home. Due to circumstances that are out of my control I have to sell the tank.

Basically this is a 96"x48"x30" high tank, standard 8'x4' footprint, made by tenecor.

This tank is new and has never been set up. Dual corner overflows, and a black acrylic back.

Also included is a custom 2" tubular steel stand that has been painted black. The stand alone was over $1000 to make custom.

I know that this tank is definitely not for everyone and there is a very specific market for it, but for those who are up for setting up a monster, this is your chance.

I prefer to sell locally,( lower mainland) but if the buyer is willing to pay the shipping cost, I am not against shipping it within Canada.

Buyer will have to assume the moving cost, either in renting a moving truck or professional movers.

Asking $3500 for the complete setup.

Please keep the thread clean, PM me for more info.

Ahhh man, sounds like a dream tank!

that is also a great price, compared to what I have spent, and mine is smaller.

Funny thing is thats cheaper than mine too!!
well sorta
the live rock is what makes it expensive and the lighting. That would be double the cost of my setup after lighting and live rock so around 11k? lol

that being said, if i had the option of buying my 180 or the 550, i would be buying that 550!

I wonder what that sucker weighs (empty)....

I'm gonna guesstimate that when setup, that puppy is a good 7000 lbs

It's acrylic, so no where near that much.

I'd take this in an instant if it wouldn't cost me my marriage. ;)

8 X 4 X 2 1/2 doesn't fit into many basements unless your basement is on the ground floor... You can't get that around a bend in the stairs. You couldn't stand this thing up in a lot of houses with 8 foot ceilings. But I am envious and would love to have a tank like this.

my basement is ground floor...
or at least a walk out...

The problem is the doors/windows....

There is NO WAY this thing would get through any of them.

Building entrances and exits typically have 3'-0" doors. Turn the tank on it's side and it will fit. It's only 2'-6" high.
