I've been using a Power Fist Diamond Saw from Princess Auto for over a year for much of my LPS fragging. I see they will have them on sale again soon from July 20th to August 1st. They're only $60 and you get THREE 7" diamond blades with that!

Heres a pic of what they look like:

I got one a while ago and considering how much concrete block and paving stone I cut, a blade should be good for thousands of frags.

I've seen lots of great tile saw deals lately at Rona, HD, and others. A good way to go...but they only cut straight lines! A band-saw is a better option I think.

ps. Russell....what was the economical fine band-saw you recommended to me?

I've also got an Inland DB 100 diamond blade bandsaw but it cost $280 after shipping from a seller on ebay. I like it a lot and it does some nice fine cuts but for over $200 more I dont think many people could justify one.

I think you're right. Only being able to cut straight lines is not such a big deal with that price difference.
