Well my MOMMA Clown is dying and it saddens me to see her in the corner just hanging there the shrimp at starting to gather around her and she is fighting them away. rapid gill movement ....

I have had her since 2003. just did a water change and all levels are 100%

all levels are good and was spot feeding the acans and then I seen her after the actinics went on.

that is her there

I hope that she pulls through,:redface::redface:

Man Im really sad now...

Sorry to hear :(

For what it's worth mike, I think that is a long time to have a fish. When you first got her who knows how old she was already at that time. Seven years later (plus how ever old she was when you got her).. She is an old fish. I too hope she pulls through but if she doesn't, there may not have been anything you could have done for her.

Sorry Mike, she does not look to good. If its an intestinal parasite, not sure how to get meds to her, if she wont eat. I having a look for other disease they may get.

Fot those that think she is old, thats not that old for a clown. It was a baby when Mike bought it. My pair are now over eight yrs. old. I know several aquarists with clowns in their teens and a couple over 20.

She was a good healthy female before this. Was sad to see her this afternoon. Her male would give her the snuggle now and then as she swam up on the clams mantle. Mike fed the tank while I was there and she showed no interest what so ever.

At 7 years old she was a pet and it hurts to lose a pet, no matter what. Sorry for your loss, Mike. :(
