For everyone's info
Went to Crystal glass in Langley at 5777 - 203A St to get my tank drilled today. The manager's name is Ron Bryce and he has 1.5, 1.75, 2, 2.25, and 2.5 inch glass hole bits. He charges $20/hole or $17.50 for two or more.

I called around and
- the Crystal Glass in Burnaby at Imperial only had 2 and 4 inch bits but was only charging $10/hole.
- Crystal Glass in Richmond had 4, 3, 2.5, and 2 inch bits

FYI

Hey thats where i got my tank drilled. They asked me to bring the truck with the tank around back and into their shop, drilled it right there on the truck (did not take long at all).... if you get them at the right time the price gose down.. i payed 10 bucks for mine. I highly recomend them as well.

Cheers!

Hey I think I got ripped off. Did you deal with Ron (old guy with white beard and moustache) or the younger guy? Kris - what were you drilling and what size hole?

umm no one of the younder guys... No i do not think you got riped off. i had my 90g tank, they driled a 1.5 hole for me... i think it fell under "lunch money".. i asked no questions though  .

but they did do a great job, which is the main thing.

Paul's Aquarium in Newton (Surrey) does it cheap too. If you don't want to move your tank he'll lend/rent you the gear to do it yourself.

Hey Scott
Do you remember how much he charged to rent the drill and bits?
