Looks like some kind of a clam/ mussel? Sometimes scallops will look at lot like a rock until it opens up. It may just be a filter eater, don't know for sure.

Hi, It appears to be like the one I had a few years ago, kinda cool creatures. It is known as a jewel box clam, it has other common names but can't remember them at the moment. Very easy to care for, filter feeder. No other special requirements I believe. Mine was doing fine under
t5's. The only reason I lost mine was due to a crash from a move from bc to alberta. Good luck!

I have one in my tank a bit smaller attached to a rock you can't tell it's there till it opens up mine have a black mantel feeds just like a filter feeder. It is also covered in Coraline algae.
