got one of these guy just over a week ago and they weren't joking about how quickly one can wipe out the entire coepod population in now time.

luckily for me... he's actually start to eat some frozen blood worms without training.

now my next task is train this guy to eat brine shrimp or mysid shrimp.

anyone had experience on training these guys to eat all kind of frozen food???

thanks

Peter

Vary the food, I have 2 that eat pellets as well.

Place the food into the tank at the power head or water intake.
Its fast moving and appears alive, by time it settles near the Mandy it grabs it without too much inspection.

I unplug the return pump and leave the power head on(biocube) while feeding. that way food will not go into the chambers and filter out by floss.

that's probably how I got the mandarin to start taking blood worm. but it will still ignore everything else.

My usual feeding mix is 1:1 blood worm and brine shrimp and arctic pods as treat from time to time.

Should I add some krill or mysis shrimps to my feeding mix???
