I need a light for my DIY Refugium. The refugium is part of a 10 gallon tank, so if you have a 10 gallon tank light that would fit well, or really, anything that's 6-20 inches long. I just want something cheap, so if you have something, or even know where i could get something cheap let me know.

Thanks

Some people get those cheap clip on lights. Put those spiral flourescent bulbs in there.
Home depot, daylight. They are 6500 degrees Kelvin. That will grow cheato. Put the lights on in the refugium on a reverse light cycle to your tank. Helps to stabilize ph

HD has the spiral flour. in a look alike spotlight as well, 6500K. Might be good to get that. They are easier to clean the salt off of.

So just a normal bulb will not work like a 60watt

i got a couple of lights that i don't need. the first one is a coralife power compact fixture 28 watts (50/50) that comes with legs to mount on to the tank. it measures approx 16 inches long and 4 inches deep. the second light is just a plain old t8 fixture that holds 1 15 watt bulb (6500k i believe). it measures 14 inches long and 3 inches deep. it has a bit of rust on it though.

the coralife i can sell it to you for 10 bucks. the other one can be free i was just gonna use it for my sump light anyway (for maintenance).

Thanks all for the replies, I've located a light that should work out well.

In case future people read this... Home Depot has a 12" T5 for 30 bucks, it's a cool blue lamp in there, looks good, but i didn't get it (probably should have). Princess auto has MANY MANY lights, including compact flourecent's that are 13W bulbs, and also they're VERY cheap. Wallmart actually had full 10 gallon tanks with light's and everything for $40, so after materials, that might have been cheaper overall for my build.

Locate a plastic supplier if you're buying acrylic pieces, even for baffles, Home Depot had them for $30, picked up an offcut piece for $5 (4 large timmies coffe's).

anyways, this has gone less buy/sell and more DIY, so... thanks all for the offers, you guys are great.
