Just completed is Sfiligoi's new and custom monster Exaggerate fixture. My goal was to design a fixture to suit the needs of such larger scale tanks with widths of 36" and greater. Sfiligoi has managed to turn my requests into reality and what we now have is a new model that has the potential for production. The only thing missing is an official name for this colossal pendant!

It's measurements are 60"x31"x8" and incorporates the following:

- 2x Exaggerate twin reflectors with 4x400w MH's
- 4x80w T5's
- 8 Led Moon's
- Driven by 4x400w ACLS units

The customer has promised to send pictures once mounted but in the meantime here are a few shots of it I took while at Sfiligoi last week.

I'm pretty sure you could grow coral under this tank even with a piece of plywood in-between . WOW that's allot of power!

Darren, it's far more power than mine. Mine is 1512 watts in a 6' fixture. This one is 1920 watts in a 5' fixture. Hell, you'd have to mount that thing 3' above the tank. I bet they run it with 20000K MH's. Anything whiter would blind you.

It is actually going to illuminate a 505g display measuring 66"x42"x42" and with the twin lamp design, we are able to run a 10 or 14k together with a 20k in each reflector. This will allow to run the 20k's first while early morning and late evening dimming period with the ACLS units. The 10/14K's will then operate more towards the midday period allowing for some real crazy transitional colouration during dimming operation of the ACLS units.

Believe it or not, this customer has asked if we can provide a two fixture solution to an 8ft x 10ft tank for another one of his customers! Insane....

Yes 42" wide would require the twin lamps. A lot nicer than going with multiple fixtures on a tank that wide. Putting different spectrum lamps in each reflector is a cool idea. Like you say, that will make for interesting lighting options. I hope we get to see some pics of it on the tank.

wow, with that thing I would need a label on my house that read, "WARNING: Solar Radiation Inside". Although, that might attract people looking for a quick and easy tan.. speaking of which, does the fixture come with sun tan lotion?

Cool looking products. I was wondering about the mini LED bulbs if they can be used in a mini halogen fixture .The halogen bulbs look like they have the same contacts. And if they are the same, would you need something to step down the voltage or watts ?

Holy snapping tulips, I love my Stealth but you could twist my arm on this one. Would be interesting in the future to see this in a plasma version.

Great one Ron

The name "Exaggerate" totally fits that fixture
