EDIT: This was my one thousandth post!

Hi Milad

I bought mine from a site in Quebec. Good service but it took about a week to arrive. If you are still looking, let me know and I will pm you the URL.

I am trying to figure out a way to mount these in my tank/sump/resevior/etc?

I've seen something called memory plastic that can be moulded into any shape you like, but I haven't found a supplier yet.

Have you come up with any creative solutions for mounting these?

You could make a simple holder out of acrylic. Mine is just sort of clipped to the rim of the tank. I've made several such holders. You can see the one for my float switch just behind my sewer pipe overflow. I've also got one for the temperature and pH probes in my sump.

Most all of our sponsors sell float switches and top off systems in one form or another.

We can supply memory plastic (Shapelock), this product can be molded into anything you want with low temperatures, can be re-used, and is completely non toxic.

Very creative. Where do you buy these acrylic bar? Does Home Depot or Rona has it?

Acrylic rod can be bought from any place that specializes in plastics. If we have one in Prince George I'm sure you have one in Calgary. What I have in the picture is actually just some strips of acrylic that I cut on a table saw from a larger sheet, cemented together and drilled. You can also use a heat gun to bend it and I've done that a bit as well but it takes a little more practice and skill to look good. I know Rona has sheets of acrylic/plexi glass but I dont know about Home Depot.

fyi you have to have a saw blade with ALOT of teeth to cut acrylic. I tried with a normal saw with big teeth and it shattered. luckly i had my shades on.

Laguna pond supplies sells floats for pond top off--don't see why they wouldn't work for your tank. Also, they're readily available. I'll be going this route whenever I do an ATO for my tank.

Yes, I'm still waiting for my float switches to come in from the US. I ordered a few extra since people have been asking me to build ATO's for them. I'll let you know if they arrive in the next few days.

(btw: I think i was talking to you about 2 weeks ago about this,... Sorry, got super busy with work.)
