I love this little guy so much charactor paid 45 for him and would love to keep
him but he is a jumper big time.I have had him for two months and is a good eater as well.You must have a covered tank and fairly deep substrate.If he stays with me he will end up dried up on the floor.

how do you know he is a jumper?

all jawfish are.. mine was in a rsm and would have carpet surfed on may occasions if not for the canopy. wiked fish tho..

most reading will tell you that once established in a home, jawfish are significantly less likely to jump.

And if noone in your tank is aggressive, it's that much less likely that they will jump even before they get settled in a hole.

Because I see him jump and its only a matter of time..
