Beautiful zoos and I really like the openings in the rock work!

What kind of lighting have you set up?

Best,

Rob

Hey Rob, thanks.. i love those zoos too. righ tnow i have 1 175w MH ( thats why the far back shot makes it look so dark in there) but i will soon be upgrading to a dual 250 HQI ballast running the 10,000k ushio bulbs... probably after christmass. the bulb its running is a 10,000k but the ballest makes it look a little blueerr i belive.

cheers!

I sure like those closeups. Could you let me know what camera you used to take those

Awesome colours on those zoos!

Bob, I think Christy took the photos with her Coolpix? She mentions her 880 in another thread... Someone else was looking at a 4500 - awesome camera for macro shots.

Yup, its a Nikon Coolpix 880. I think you can pick one up off Ebay these days for a couple hundred bucks. It was discontinued the year before last I think. Not the greatest for action shots though IMO. Too much time between when you press the button and the shutter does its thing, even on higher shutter speeds. But well worth it for macros

Christy :)
