I don't think the quality of this photo is really worthy...it's my Kole tang when he went through a weird color morph (he looks normal now).

Had it for about 4 years. Got it when it was all yellow. Had diet issues with it for years. They really need Nori everyday. since then it's been changing to it's adult colours at a faster rate

Only 25? There should be a few more than that...

That's still not all of them as they move too fast to get a pic

Hi Laurie, FWIW, this is a Pacific sailfin, Zebrasoma veliferum. The caudal fin ("tail") is yellow, the pattering in the dorsal fin is criss-crossing instead of arching, and the bands alternate betweeen grey and white between the yellow-orange bands in the body.

Still a gorgeous fish. I like how in the Pacific sailfins, the splotch around the scalpels are a deep purple.

Here's a pic. of my old sailfin for you, I'm pretty sure he was a Red sea sailfin

http://i261.photobucket.com/albums/ii53/Laurie_Morin/galaxy/DSC_0980.jpg

By contrast, here's a pic of my Z. desjardini, the Red Sea sailfin (the picture is a few years old but it's a good side profile showing the differences):

Thanks Tony, I can see the difference now. Mine was sold to me as a red sea but I wasn't sure if he really was or not.
