I know wicked frags used to have it or maybe he still does. Aquarium Illusions has also brought them in before but haven't seen them in a long time.

J&L Aquatics is kind of in your area...they get them in fairly often. They are non-photosynthetic though, and are very difficult to keep alive for any length of time. They are best kept in tanks dedicated to non-photosynthetic species where their food demands can be met.

Thank you all. Yes, it is indeed very difficult to care ( searching through Google). I'm not intending to buy one but just post to see if there is any local prof. who's successfully keeping it.

There are a few impressive non-photosynthetic tank journals on www.zeovit.com and some of them have the Candy Cane Sponge growing well for them. Dave at Wicked Frags is no longer selling it...he told me that too many people couldn't keep it alive.
