Looks to me like aptasia.

Yes it is. They spread like mad and have the potential to sting many other tank inhabitants.

This more lookes like tube anemone to me.
Does it retracts in to tube like body?

well i dont know should i chuck it or give it away? because i just want to get rid of it! but then again if its a tube anemone i dont want to throw away, because thats just a waste

Looks like aiptasia. = bad
Does it have a hard tube to retract into? Touch it and see. The tube will not get shorter in that case

How big is this anemone? I've never seen aptasia grow larger than 2"-2 1/2" across.
Although this does look similar to aptasia, I dont think it is. The tentacles seem too numerious and fine in your picture.

you might get more-aptasia are notorious for spreading-if you do contact me at monocus@telus.net-i use them to feed my burghia
