Currently I'm borrowing a huge hand on skimemr for my nano. I need to find a more permanent sollution. Does anyone know anything good or bad about the Millennium Power Filter series 1000, 2000, or 3000. JL has them on sale and I think their pretty compact. If I did get one I'd discontinue the skimming with this huge, but effective, beast of a skimmer. It's time to make things long nice on the outside too I've decided.
They look like your regular hang on filter. Can't see why they'd be bad..?

Just keep in mind that a skimmer will actually remove organic matter from your water column, but a hang on filter will only trap dirt where it waits for you to remove it from the water column and clean it.

I myself have used the Aquaclear Mini on my nano. I find it easy to clean, whereas the Milleniums use replacable filter pads. That is an expensive route to go IMO.

I have a seaclone skimmer and a topfin filter that I will let go for a great price. If you are interested PM me.
