i picked this little critter up this weekend and was told it was a bearded anemone but i cant find any info on it online under that name. anyone have any thoughts? he behaves well so far already set in place and seems happy.

"Beaded" anemone is a common name for Heteractis aurora. Looking at the photo, yours could be that, I think. I can't quite tell from the picture on my monitor but do the tentacles have a sort of ringed/striped patterning?

yes it sort of looks like it. a few have a tinge of purple in it but i faintly see rings. thank you.. this is what i get for not listening clearly lol

Wow nice nem Jeff have seen a couple like this in Calgary LFS and have thought of getting one :mrgreen:

thanks grizz hopefully it stays on what i call anemone island. it is kinda cool and fuzzy im hoping at least one of my baby percs find it and host it

could be a ringed seabe Nem also a nice Nem very similar what does the center look like?
does it have radiating white lines around the mouth?

i dont see any white lines no im positive it is the beaded nem now i just heard the lfs wrong and thought he said bearded i was only one letter off lol its cool tho i put it where i wanted it and it stayed so happy about that
