So this happened kinda by accident, my cousin's kids were visiting and they brought a small ball over to play with. Didn't think too much of it until they started playing with the ball by the fish tanks. I was about to tell them to play with the ball somewhere else, when naturally "plunk" into the tank it went :twised:

Well much to my surprise my puffer thought this was a great new toy for him to play with, it was pretty funny to watch and I actually got a video of it http://i261.photobucket.com/albums/ii53/Laurie_Morin/Lionfish/P3310596.jpg

Hi everyone, sorry to disappoint (Lance) but as most of you know by now my puffer hasn't learned a new trick. This morning I really had a strong urge to do something for April fools. So I tired to come up with something that was maybe hard to believe but not so hard to believe that people would automatically think it's a prank. I hope I managed to fool a few of you, and make people smile and have fun with it. Thanks for playing along and not giving the surprise away. Hope everyone had a good April Fools

Hummmm, it seems I just might have to try to teach my puffer to play with a ball. Maybe I'll toss one in the tank and see what happens, my toby puffer is usually quite curious, so you never know...

Well, you got me too. Worst part is that I'm pretty sure that I've heard of Puffers playing with ping pong balls before. Maybe this joke has been done before... or maybe it's actually possible...???

The whole reason I used a ball trick for a joke was that it was easy to think that it could be possible, not sure if it's ever really been done or not.

Yes I do. However I'm not to sure I want to try, I got to thinking what happens if my grouper tries to eat the ball :surprise:

Well it's not a ball but but my porky sure chases his supper dish. He eventually grabs it and pulls it under.
