If you go to GE polymers and ask at the front desk they might have some cut
offs. I have some 36" long pieces of I think 4" and I can check. I am also looking at cnc machining some end caps. Let me know what your caps look like, Don Calgary:idea:

donlite,

These are some pictures of end caps I machined on a cnc router for a small media reactor. Bubble plate was done using a simple drill pattern with a 1/8" end mill. I've always used double sided carpet table for holding down acrylic on the table. Vacuum tables don't seem to do well with acrylic and the feed rates (low spindle rpm, high feed)

Acrylic Concepts is a good place to go. I'm getting them to CNC my overflow box for me.

Just FYI, Sabic bought GE Polymershapes a few years ago. Same location (up by the airport next to the big Canada Post plant).

When you get the pipe you also should look at buying the glue at the same time maybe "Acrylic 16". You need to able to open and close the one end.
How are doing this?

You must be very careful when cutting the acrylic tube. Do not let it get hot as this can cause micro fishers. It is also important to make sure the joints you are connecting are clean and straight. Good Luck, Don
