I posted a design of a large tank I plan to build(design change #35 :lol: )under my photos.
7x2x2.5 it will have 3each,2x2 viewing windows cut out of plywood.Could i use 3/8 glass since viewing area is only 2x2? I figured would be easier to handle 3 smaller pieces instead of 1 larger piece of glass.

I think you'd be better with 1/2 inch. I bit stronger and not a lot more money.

I guess better safe than sorry.What do you think of the 3 viewing windows in front,instead of 1?(easly cut with a router)

I think it will look good, but the frame might get in the way after a while

Both ! ... just get one big piece of glass and that way you can sit back after it is all done with no regrets ... besides just get the company that you buy the glass from to cut it for you.
