Our scarlet reefs are outgrowing their shells- 2 of them are quite large, and they keep turning each other over and stealing shells. J&L hasnt had any our last 3 visits, neither did Island fish when we went in.

Anyone have any spares, or know of somewhere else to get some? I found a few people selling on ebay, but I'm not sure what size to look for (I dont want to pull my crabs out of the tank to measure!)

try big als in coquitlam or richmond. they have all kinds of shells along their front counters that your hermits would do anything to jump into.

You can usually get a big bag of shells at craft stores like Michaels

I second the Michaels comment. Just make sure you boil the shells before hand (cleans and removes anything that might be on them).
