What would happen if I added my fish, coral and live rock to my tank with 100% new salt water?

I am in the process of swappping tanks and will be using about 70 gallons of used salt water out of the old tank once everything is out.

thanks

You are better to put all the livestock in a tub or pail first and move the old water to the new tank then top with new salt water. Then add live rock, and use stability.

Do not reuse your old sandbed.

Make sure you dose it with Seachem Stability, as it will help with the bacteria in the tank and small die off.

It will also reduce the stress on the livestock.

The stress the livestock will have in the tubs/pails will be far lesss than adding them to new water.
