Hey guys, I have some cartons of carbon and Id like to use it in a HOB aquaclear at the moment but I cant figure out what I could use that is a common household item as a filter bag for it to sit in? Is there anything? Or maybe I should just go buy some? If so, who has filter bags for cheap?

Dennis at Golds carries bags, 2 pack for about $4 or so. That is what I do. And they are reusable.

Thanks, this is what I ended up going with :) How long do you reuse them? I guess til they fail to hold in the carbon?

They are actually quite durable and last a long time. I throw them out when they start ripping around the stitching of the bag.
