Can anyone tell me how can I catch my regal tang, I tried the food in the net method and it did not work, any suggestions without tearing my tank apart.

Regals are notoriously easy to catch in a bottle trap...or mine was anyways!

Do a search on here...lots of posts about them or google fish soda bottle trap. Basically cut the top off a pop bottle, invert it inside the bottom. Place inside the tank with food inside and wait...Pull out when you see him go in. They get confused on how to get out.

I just use a piece of acrilic plastic and corner the fish and then easy as the space is small and with large net there realy is no where to go 1 scoop and away you go. But you have to have room to do this. Bottle trap works realy good if he will go in, even less stress.

I used a small fly fishing hook and piece of thread baited with mysis to catch a damsel just make sure you pinch the barb
