Franco's is across the street from Big Al's, they used to have a good selection of FW, its been a while since I have been there but it was good when i was in FW. They are on 32nd ave and 19th ST NE though. Also i would say hit up golds as well for both fresh and salt and RC if you feel like going to the NW.

Yup, both Gold's and Franco's are on my hit-list - Those two I know well & have spent a few $ at each of them :)
Are there any south of Gold's or on Macleod?
I'll be going to Ocean City & Rea Coral in the afternoon.
Where's Riverfront, now?
And I hear Pisces has moved too, are they over by BigAls/Francos, now?

Yes it's just off of McLeod Tr on the side street across from the Big 4 Motors Dodge dealership.

If I'm coming in from the south on Highway 2, will it be faster to go down Macleod or to take Deerfoot & Glenmore to get to Elite Aquatics?

Deerfoot to Glenmore to Macleod Trail southbound. BUT, you'll have to turn off Macleod at Campers Village and snake in on the back road there as you otherwise cannot get to Elite from southbound Macleod. Another option is head over to Heritage, turn north on Macleod and then turn right when you get to the strip mall.

Is that the same mall where BigAls was a few years back?

It's nearby there but no, different strip mall. Look for .. I think it is Big 4 motors (Jeep/Chrysler dealership) and they are just south of there. There's a bar called Outlaws (disclaimer: I'm not sure if that's the right name) in the same parking lot .. a Korean BBQ restaurant, a Thai restaurant and a Mexican restaurant all in the same strip mall. Also right across Macleod from Palatal restaurant (man what's with all these food landmarks? Must be close to dinner time or something..)

Wow, you know the restaurants.... But Palatal went under quite some time ago, now it is a Wealth Street Place, some sort of financial company.
Personally I would just visit Golds, Red Coral and Ocean City... All the others are too expensive and inentionally inflate their prices and rip you off.
Have fun shopping around.

Oh .. haha, well, ok then. I only went there once probably around 6-7 years ago, it wasn't all that good IMO. Guess others felt similarly!
