I'm going to be away for almost 3 days this weekend and as I haven't got the Remora dialed in yet, I was a bit worried about it overflowing all over everything - mostly the livingroom carpet :(
I thought it would be nice to have an Overflow, so here's what I came up with.
I had some 1/2" ID Acrylic tubing alaying around, so I took a short piece and cut one end off on a 45 degree angle, and drilled a 1/2" hole in the side of the collection cup, not quite at the top of the riser pipe. (oops, sorry no pics, forgot about the camera)
Then I glued the tube onto the side of the collection cup.
You may notice, I put a little block under the tube to brace it, just in case I have a Hulk Moment when I'm putting the pipe on/off...

Then I drilled a 5/8" hole in the cap of a water bottle for the drain hose (1/2" ID, 5/8" OD) ...

Collection cup on the skimmer ...

Drain hose attached to skimmer & water bottle ...

Auxillary Over-Drainage Device ... :)

And there you have it :)
Only took about 1 hour & now I have Peace of Mind!
