Well I can't help but notice all the problems people are having this past week with their tanks. Crashing, critters dieing because of waterchanges.

All you folks that are having problems;

What brand of salt are you using?

Just curious. :confused:

I'm using IO. This is the first time I have used it in the pail though. I usually buy it in the 50G bag. Plus I have set up a new tank (mid july). Plus i have had high temperatures(late july/early aug). Plus I just have s***y luck :razz:

i have first added with TAP wATER with the
RED SEA SALT i bought for a cheap price. Now i hve swtiched to IO TOO.. :redface: :redface: ay I know i cycled for 3-4 weks and then i added the salt let it go for another few weeks then, had a bad green hair from the crappy roc that i bought off this guy and he had it in the tank for 3 yrs and used tap water to.
But then i bought a RO?DI unit and yea ha the greeen stuff went away in about 5 months alot of sucking and scraping out the green stuff.
