So I've got this dark side to my tank (I call it Dart Vader land... ok, bad joke) where there is a large shaded area because of an arch way. It's not dark, but it sure isn't as bright as the rest of my tank. I am looking for something cool that could survive in this low-light spot to fill in the barren area.

What low-light species would you suggest?

Meteor Shower cyphastrea is nice and does well in lower light. Or a dendrophyllia which is a great coral but is non photosynthetic and should be fed mysis a couple of times a week.

Oh good call! I always forget about those. Any other ideas?

I have a large blue sponge that I've had for 4 months and growing well in my shaded area. Just a suggestion. I love it. Many people comment on it cause there's no other thing like it and that colour.
