Peppermint Shrimps always worked for me, I added 4 to my 150 to get rid of and control them.

Sorry to hear that, I didn't realize you had a niger trigger, I wouldn't have suggested peppermint shrimps.
I like to ask question about any livestock that I want to add to my tank. I also like to use this guide http://www.liveaquaria.com/general/compatibility_chart.cfm

I bought peppermint shrimp a couple times, first time 3, then a few months ago another 6, well I don't see them anymore. Probably food for someone.
Anyways, on glass I scrape it off and flush if possible, but otherwise I use Tailored Aquatics Aptasia Destroyer. One treatment gets rid of it, without any adverse affects to the aquarium. Now keep in mind you can only treat so many at a time, as per instructions. So if you have a ton, it may take a few days.
I love that stuff and it is cheap to buy.

I have only ever seen 2 come into my tanks in the last 3 years and I kill them using two part ALK. I load about 1ml into a syringe and stab them and squirt it inside them. They isntantly shrivel and then I watch them melt away. They don't return so it seems to work good.

I went to the store and got 2 fish that are supposed to destroy it. A yellow racoon butterfly fish and Copper and white striped fish. But they haven't done much yet.

IMO berghia nudibranchs are the way to go. They only eat aiptasia and they will reproduce in your aquarium until they have wiped out all of the aiptasia.

I agree with global design, I just used aiptasia destroyer yesterday in my tank and it killed them instantly. I highly recomand that product.

I do but shipping to Edmonton would be rather expensive for just one. Have you tried Blue World? I seem to remeber hearing that they had some a while back.

I picked up some Joe's Juice this past weekend in Calgary. Killed all 4 Aptasia on the first go. You just kind of feed it to them (at least thats what the instructions said). Although I found it kind of hard with the smaller ones so I just squirted it in their general direction haha.

if you only have a couple-don't use berghia.a berghia will eat 1 aptasia a day and within 2 weeks will starve to death-good waste of money-mix up some kalkwasser into a thick paste and gently squirt it on the aptasia with a seringe-make sure you cover the base as well as that's where the daughter cells are.i've also injected the aptasia with lemon juice-works great-but again you have to worry about the daughter cells
