I thought I would be nice and feed live chaeto to my tangs. Well learn from my mistake - live chaeto becomes dead chaeto after going through the digestive system but they retain their stringy spagetti-like shapes. So now there are whitish strings of chaeto poop floating everywhere in my tank.

besides being unsightly, what else does this mean?
Thanks

Having two young kids pointing to your tank & going "Dad, your tank is full of worms, ewwwww!"

Hmmm... sounds like we need to do another group order of Grasilaria Pacifica.

I have a wad of chaeto hanging from a contraption off the rim of my display since I don't have a sump. My Yellow Tang doesn't touch the stuff.
