Just picked this up today! Its a Aquaperfekt Photon Plus 48" 2x250w MH with 4 54w T5 bulbs. I would prefer if it had legs and could mount it on my tank but it looks like I'm gonna have to hang it from my ceiling which I have no idea how to do lol.

I can't belive how quiet the unit it is. Eveything on it is so smooth. Does anyone have any suggestions on t5 bulb choices?

The only thing that sucks about these things is that it is so hard to get info on them

As long as it continues to work you don't need to know much I think =) Congrats on a gorgeous fixture. That blue sticker on the end needs gone ASAP!

HaHa Agreed!I already peeled them off. Im thinking about changing the T5's also. It came with 2 blue plus and 2 super actinics. Any recommendations?

All depends what you're planning to use for mh bulbs I suppose. The ATI Blue+ have tons of par and add some great colour to a tank. You could go with a whiter/brighter mh and get your blue from the t5s.

At the moment the fixture has 2 250w 10k MH's(brand unknown) when I replace them prolly gonna go with the phoenix 14k's. I'm in the dark when it comes to T5's tho(sorry for the bad lighting pun lol)
