overflows

i just bought a new 90 gallon tank at big als boxing day sale for a future upgrade..the tank is temerd on the bottom but not the sides...i was thinking of going with a coast to coast overflow and using something like bean animals standpipes....just not sure how big to build the internal overflow box..just wondering if any out there has a system like this with some pic or better suggestions....
