I'm selling my dream house so I'm selling my dream tank. Came really close this time...but not meant to be. My wife was recently diagnosed with cancer (and has been through a lot besides that before the diagnosis) and won't work anytime soon if ever again.

I want to drain and get rid of this ASAP guys. I need my house listed without a tank in it.

Here's what I'm looking for:

tank, stand, plumbing - $700 GONE

dart gold - $200 GONE

fuge, sump, 20g reservoir - $100 PENDING

pair of 33 gallons for water change system. top has hole in bottom and emergency up top. bottom has emergency hole up top. - $50
with nice stand to hold it all - $250 GONE

sfiligoi stealth 12x80w with NEW bulbs, light lift - $1200
please note i extended all 3 power cords (safely with solder/heatshrink) PENDING

Bubble King SM250 - $1000 GONE

Tunze 6100 x 2
Tunze 6101 x 1
Tunze 7095 Multicontroller - Package deal $500 GONE

Tunze Osmolator - $100
please note i extended a power cord (safely with solder/heatshrink) GONE

Ranco dual stage - $80 GONE

2 x Jager 300W heaters - $50 GONE

About 200 lbs of freshly seeded rock - $300 for all of it. Nice shelf pieces too. Sold altogether I have no time to be measuring individual pieces. GONE

Sand - free GONE

ChemMaster dry chems...I think 20 lbs mag, 20 lbs alk, 10 lbs DI resin - $80 for the box GONE

Salifert test kits plus Elos nitrite - $100 for all. All new except ammonia and elos used a few times. GONE

terrible news!! was loving how your tank was coming together, you've put alot of hard work into it for sure. None the less i'm sure the tank is'nt on the top of your thoughts right now..After looking thru your build thread up-date by up-date i think you should seriously start designing tanks for people with to much money, the amount of perfection and detail you put into it is 1st class.. I would love to have the funds to set you free at my house to build me a jaw-dropping tank!!

Sorry to hear you are selling your house and reef setup Brett. Your build thread was top shelf and some of your ideas were simply amazing (light lift). Wishing the best for you and your family.

Thanks everyone.

I'm getting a lot of pms regarding parting out and I don't have the time or energy right now to give everyone prices. I imagine I will have to part out and if that happens I will post everything individually and then address new pms in the order they are received after that time.

If anyone is looking to move into a nice neighbourhood...I can throw the tank in for free =) Lol.

Bump.

Near new Dart Gold is now $200.

Has only run a total of maybe 2 months total while I cycled and messed with the tank.

Tunze package is now $500.

These have been running for around the same time and work flawlessly. 6100s have the newer one-piece propellers. I love these pumps.

We're getting closer guys. Let's put this thing out of its misery.

Accepting reasonable offers on the lighting and the skimmer.

Brett, sorry to hear of all the recent developments, but hopefully your wife is getting better everyday. Someone needs to keep your chaetoballs in line.

I'll take a slap and a chaeto ball. The smaller one is fine.

I may be interested in you lighting, but in my research I don't think there is feet for it, is this true? I do require feet, as I can't hang it.

Is it 5ft long?

Ok everything except the skimmer is sold or spoken for.

Who wants some BK?

I think Sfiligoi makes legs but I don't have any. I'd never want to have to lift this light. It is heavy.

Just so we are clear, alot of people here are great and some just have a bigger impact on other people even when you don't meet them. I believe in what we do comes back to assist us down the road. with this hobby there are set backs and hidden surprizes. With life you only have one shot and you need to nip it fast or you wont get those second chances .....

I'm doing this to help out another REEFING FRIEND, Not because i need it. which i wont. I just like to see people not struggle..

Was a pleasure Chris!

Yeah Tony carried that bucket with 4" of water in it like a champ. I honestly don't know what we would have done without him.

More seriously tho...when I was taking the light lift down I was having trouble locating the last screw holding it up. He passed me my trademark diaper box to put onto the step stool (which was sitting on the light fixture) with literally 1 second to spare as it came loose and dropped down.

Would have been 12 broken bulbs in that new tank of yours!

Too bad when you suggested we 'take five and leave it to Tony' it didnt quite work out

Thanks for helping though to you as well Tony! I know you were helping Brett for awhile before we got there!
