So I'm cleaning out my skimmer cup and I find these inside the neck of my skimmer cup. Anyone know what might cause this? There is also some sort of film inside of the cup, this was taken after soaking in a vinegar bath for hours. The cup isn't exposed to heat of any kind, they are on the inner neck so there isn't any weight on the cup.. Very odd. The surface is now a tad bit rough, so I'm a little worried now about it's effectiveness.

Looks like a chemical reaction did you use pure vinegar or dilute it a bit?
Could be from the factory as well from the glue and they cleaned it up some so it had a film on it that has now worn off.

It was diluted quite a bit. The striations and film were there before the bath.

Not all that familiar with ATI , do they use extruded instead of cast in construction? the crazing you are getting is common with extruded acrylic. You could try one of the acrylic polishing systems that are available to try and smooth it out.
