Hey Everyone,

Ok, so these are uncommon, but most people are familiar with them. I am however very impressed with my new one. Here is a picture, because threads are useless without pics! Sorry, took the picture with my blackberry.. its not the best.

Anyways, I put him into my 71g fuge sunday night... by monday night, he had gorged himself almost to the point of explosion(but nowhere near denting my pod population, haha). He is only 3/4" long. He is so active, out and about, even with two small black and white clowns in the fuge (yes, I know that technically defeats the point of a fuge, but I still have insane pod growth). I thought he would be intimidated by them or the new environment, but no, he motors around no big deal! He was bright red and fully active and hunting within 2hrs! Its so neat to watch him 'stalk' the pods and pod larvae! I think its much neater than watching a mandarin even! Hes seems to enjoy the ball of cheato in the fuge, lol.

Anyways, just wanted to share!

Thanks for looking,

Cheers,

Chris

I have one as well and love him. So active and always out and about. I also have the orange pygmy one but he hides almost all the time.

Haha awesome!

Yeah you've got a tank full of cute little gobies hey? Im quite jealous!

Too bad the other one hides!

What do you feed yours? Mine is too small for little pellets even... he'd have to eat crushed flakes, lol.

Dawn I think mine is the same one as your orange pigmy one? This one i've got is an E. pellucida.

Yup, lots of little guys. I did have a candy cane trimma but lost him in qt

I feed a mix of frozen brine/mysis/cyclops so everyone gets the size food they like/need.

Oops, thanks for pointing that out, I mixed up the names. I'll fix that now.
