Hey guys

i've been on canreef for a while now and i thought i would show you guys all what i have been working on so far, seeing as i've asked for and recieved a ton of help from alot of members on here!!

So my tank first of all 275g Display with 75 gallon sump total water volume around 315-310.

6' x 2' x 3' its a tall tank which im not a fan but work with what you're given right lol

I am a huge fan of Tangs so i wanted a population based around them
its also a reef tank so tangs are safe to have :)

now alot of people will say not to have to many in one tank as they get aggresive which is very true, but i have been very careful when adding my fish to my tank so i have managed to hare more then what some people would think recommendable lol

fish list so far
Convict Tang
Gold Rim Tang
Sohal Tang (easily the boss of the tank)
Naso Tang (biggest tang by miles)
Hippo Tang
Purple Tang
Japan Tang (theres debate on the actual name of this one being either the powder brown or white cheek but it is ancathurus japonicus)
Sailfin Tang
4 oci clowns, one black (2 of which are hosting in my green carpet)
Mated pair of yellow headed sleeper gobies
bi-colour angel
coral beauty
purple dottyback

and some various inverts

Corals so far:
not many as im trying to keep it low with lps i wanna get into sps more than anything so trying to get my water up to that prestine condition but most likely wont get there until i get my new tank!

Giant xenia grows like a weed!
green star colony which easily covers a 7lb piece of LR
galaxy coral
i do have a purple and green one which i cannot remember the name of
lol
plus my very large green carpet anemone

So heres how i started a couple years ago
i began with a 75 gallon

then built my own stand as it only cost me like 17 bucks
lol
as opposed to like 200

then my first few bags of sand and my first piece of LR lol

then i was given a 90 gallon and a 30 gallon cube as a friend of ours was getting out of the hobby

which i made of my newby mistakes in lol
lost a few fish and a coral or 2 lol

it was a nice tank when i actually learned alot of what i was doing wrong
lol
