Hello Everyone,

I have two small groups of Julidochromis (african tanganyikan lake cichlids) for sale. They are very hardy, and I'd say about mid-low range agression.

First group:
Julidochromis regani, 1 adult male, 3 juveniles (1-1.5")
and also a Julidochromis marlieri female. These 5 live happily together (yes, its odd the marlieri and regani are together?)

The adult male looks identical to this one:

Second Group:

Julidochromis transcriptus
2 Adults (a pair), and 4 juveniles ranging from 3/4" to 1 3/4".

Here is a picture of some of the juvies:

And a picture of one of the parents (I cant tell in this pic):

I am asking $25 for each group separately. I can deliver to Edmonton this weekend saturday or possibly sunday morning (I live near Millet but will be in town). I would like to move them out ASAP because I can use the tank space.

Please PM me if you are interested!

Thanks,

Chris

Thanks! I really like them! I wish I could keep them, but I need to make room(and $$ lol) for a 480g I will be building soon(for some larger SA Cichlids)

The only other person I know with regani is Tom(darkangel) on Alberta Aquatica who bought 5 of my juvies awhile back. Ornatus are definetly cool, but more common too.

A friend of mine used to breed them by the 1000's. I heard on the ACA board rumours of the giant regani species..never did find any proof of that. I used to raise tropheus....

Oh wow! I used to have 3 adults, 2 females and 1 male... but eventually the two larger ones paired off and killed the other female, but not before the tank had about 50 juvies from 1/4 to 1.5". Thats when I decided to use some as feeders for my bigger fish, lol.

Tropheus are cool :)
