I got a 20w x 18d x 16h 22g cube from Phillybean. The plan was (maybe) a clown/nem tank? The girlfriend said NO MORE TANKS. So I planted the seed about a cichlid tank (for her). This morning she agreed so away I go.
The plan.
switch our 40g FW to a cichlid tank
add the goldfish, mollies and neons to the 22g
wait for nature to take its course with the goldfish.
start a new 22g SW

That 70W metal halide is DIY from a Noma halogen fixture. It will do you well, I made one exactly the same.

Really? Seriously, I'll take a pic of my Noma DIY fixture, it looks exactly the same. Same clips to hold the glass on and everything.

I'll bet the wiring job looks a lot better than mine though

oops I cracked a tile while I was drilling for the door handles:redface:
Good thing I have a spare. I'm going to the coast this weekend so I will update everything when I get back. Mission acomplished tho 1 22g FW plumbed and ready for a new SW set up when I get permission. 1 33g cichlid tank. No reason why I can't spend money on my 180g this weekend:mrgreen:

Welcome to the tiled stand club. We're a small club. I think it's just us lol. Any others?

Will you tile your door as well?
