I have a new 155 BF that I am setting up. I am looking for a protein skimmer and power heads.

For the protein skimmer I would like a in-sump capable of 250 gals. I have one in mind and know what I want to pay.

For the power heads would like to have at least 4 Koralia 4's.

BIG NOTE: WILL NOT PAY MORE THEN $300 FOR A USED SKIMMER, 3 MONTHS OLD OR YEARS.

Ya sorry but I refuse to pay for a name, for $900 I could buy 2 skimmers both as good. I paid that much for my 155 Bow Front tank with stand, canopy, sump, pump, plumbing and MH lighting.

I know you are in Red Deer, I am in Calgary.

I have a Tunze 9010 Skimmer, rated for 265 US gallons... It was used for about 4 months, is still under warranty and I would give you a copy of the receipt for this purpose (if ever needed)

They sell for $450ish... But I will let it go for $250

If interested PM me.

Wow then you must be very experienced with these skimers to make an assumption just like you did what series of bubble king did you use or maybe you could point me out to some bad reviews on the web if you can find any I will give you the skimmer for free!! Hey bud I simply seen your wanted ad before you posted that you would only spend $300 on a skimmer I wasn't trying to insult you by selling you quality and didn't come out like it was the best skimmer in the world which most likely is anyways lol...
Don't always take things to the heart...

Not saying there is anything wrong with the Bubble King just CAN NOT justify spending $800-$900 for a product that a $300 - $400 product would do the same thing. No insult taken should have clarified my price range sooner.

you're absolutely right! I have been in this hobby for 15 years I have never held on to a skimmer for more than 2 months ! I used practically everything out there since I come across alot of equipment and learnt quite a bit, I would say deltec and ATI bubble master are amongst the best skimmers in the market for the buck, I found euro reef after awhile just didn't perform like it did at first h&s recirculating kicks ass. I keep large amounts of sps and moving on to a much bigger set up so I buy quality and long term performance!! I have been at times where my water changes weren't done for months "either than toping off" and my water tests are still prestine and my sps grows like crazy!! but let me know if you need an indication for a skimmer not trying to say I know more than you but I have used and abused many brands!!
