Thank you to All the Stores that Participated in Stores Tours and those that came............



There will be a Tour of LF Stores in Edmonton on DEC 6th. Canreef Sponsors and some of the non sponsored stores(names later) are participating. I am pretty sure most of the stores are going to have something for Reefers who attend.:mrgreen: Nothing like having Xmas early or planning your shopping list. Please come out with us and show some support to our stores that have given us great service thoughout the year. Come meet the staff and get to know them. I personally would like to see 20+ people show up. If interested please leave a YES on this thread and I will note them down. I need the names for some yet unknown reason:biggrin:

It's for Steve's sister-in-law and the baby he or she (one week away from her due date, very exciting :mrgreen:) will be the first baby/grandchild on Steve's side of the family. Most of the females from Steve's family and my Mom and Aunt will all be there, not sure if men are allowed. I say not sure because last summer I was at a baby were men did come :surprise: although most baby showers are for females only.

I am going to post times that everybody should be at a particular store. It would be nice to go all in a group. Makes the store look very busy and show reefer support at the same time.

YES, im also new to the hobby. setting my 46 gallon bowfront up, need live sand, rock and i hope i get both in one day cheap, it would be sweet. for Tyler and Amy although my g/f might not attend.

If it wasn't my sort of (I say sort of because technically Steve and I are not married) sister-in-law's baby shower and if it wasn't the first baby on Steve's side of the family and I wasn't giving my Mom and Aunt a ride to the shower, I believe I'd go for part of the tour and show up late for the baby shower. Or if I hadn't already committed to going to the shower before I new the date for the store tour (bad Wayne for not checking dates with me first to make sure I could go :razz:) I would of tried to get Michelle to change the date of her baby shower. But since none of that happened.....I'm going to have to miss out :sad:

Although I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to go to the baby shower, as I'm quite looking forward to it. I just wish the store tour and the baby shower where on different days, or at least different times would of been nice so I could of done both :pout: Ok I think I'm done whining for now :razz:

Just realized the store tour is at 12noon (not 1pm like I thought) and since the baby shower isn't until 2pm I can go to AI for 1/2 an hour before I'd have to leave to pick up my Mom and Aunt for the baby shower. WHOOOHOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!:mrgreen: At least I'll have time to say HI to everyone :wink:

i would just spend more money that I shouldn't be spending at this point.
i am thinking realistically Febraury or March for the tank tour if it is to include my setups.

Snow, shmow. The Shaun just called me and they're on the way back from the airport with an Aussie coral shipment right now. Duncans, Acros, Acans, Favia, Torches and Zoo's. Plus we got in 1500 lbs of Fiji liverock yesterday!

Since we are early on the tour, we will supply anyone styrofoam boxes and heatpacks if needed.

I am currently checking with building maintence to see if they plowed my parking lot, or mot. Hopefully they did, I don't want to haul my snowblower out there. :cry:

I just want to add that the young man and young lady at BWA were top notch. Very friendly, polite, helpfully & knowledgeable. I was about 1 1/2 hrs. behind everyone else as I was picking up a 45 gal Hex and a 75 gal corner. Picked up a bubble tip & sand anemone ( hope I spelled it right) form BWA and my clowns would not leave it alone long enough for it to attach,lol. Had to block it off for about 2 hrs & and it has stayed were I wanted it, so far.

Steve was great @ Little Oceans as well, walked out of there with a single Yellow Tip Torch and a Ricordia Rock, some other goodies and of coarse salt.

Hope to make it to the next store tour in the new year when everyone is there. Great shop's and now I know where they are.

Moving in didn't go exactly to plan with mynew bed going to the old address!!

Still I got some salt and so good advice.

As it said on my report card will try to do better next time :o)
