One more trip out to the reef today. I've got my fingers crossed that my camera is still fine after going too deep with it. I will try and see what pictures I've got and post some.

Absolutely amazing stuff. Too much to describe right now. In fact, the wife is giving me the evil eye to go and eat breakfast. I will update when I get back.

Just a teaser - saw black tip reef sharks sleeping under ledges on the reef and table acros about 8-10' across. Black tangs anyone??? They are everywhere. The 16" squamosa we ate for dinner one night was pretty tasty too!!

The pictures will be coming. I've got a few good ones. However, with the LCD screen on the camera destroyed (from the pressure) I was shooting blind. Not to mention the tidal surge was pretty strong so that made it tough to take pictures.

I need to go back...it's too cold.

Love to see the pics, Just wondering what kind of camera broke under the pressure? Do you know how deep you went when it happened?

Here are a couple of pictures...

There were eventually five squid that were equally interested in us.

Below is a crown of thorns starfish. It must have been a couple of feet across. One of two that I saw.

In the coral head were about 5-6 longnose filefish. You can't quite see them, but they were there.

Always in pairs as well. On one coral head, I counted six different species of butterflies.

Angels were always in pairs as well...lemonpeels, coral beauties, watanabes and I think a pair of regals.

Those tables make the one in my kitchen seem small! More please!

On some of the bigger ones, you could put a king size mattress.
